This is a beau-uuuu-tiful day to be out on Vashon. I love going there in June. The Sound among the mountains is like cup in the hands of the gods, and the sun has nothing finer to do than sit up in that sky and shine. . . . Wish I was there, rather than in the ‘bomb shelter,’ though here even the collateral blowback of the Ms flop-a-roonie in Oakland can’t spatter on my shoe, so. As for the others in the 8% who voted for an 0-3 result in that series, it hurts to be right, but thees team, she STEEEEENKS!

Yeah, e-coward, I’ve been keeping an eye on Kenny the Rogers, the guy who’s results last year weren’t sustainable just like they haven’t been sustainable for ten years. Of course, with J-Rod reverting to the mean for the anti-Midas Mariners, Rogers shouldn’t be that far behind, one does suppose.

146. Maybe, hopefully, it will be viewed as an indictment of how bad the Angels really are, and maybe the sweep over them will be a little less meaningful. At this point though, unless the wheels totally come off, I’d expect to see Hargrove retained until after the season. Too far out of character for this club to make a radical change midseason.
