So does the addition of Tug Hulett mean there is no chance the Ms will extend Beltre as well as signaling the move of Triunfel to the outfield?

Nothing more than a backup or injury replacement at the ML level though, in my opinion. I would say he's better than Bloomquist, but that's not saying much. Eckstein close to signing with Toronto, pushing MacDonald to the bench. There's another slick-fielding SS being pushed aside for offense. That shows what type of value a guy like Everett has with the majority of teams in the leauge. My guess is Everett to Minnesota as they have shown that they value defense over offense, for the most part. Replacing Bartlett with Everett makes a lot of sense.
