One of the last links to the Brooklyn Dodgers, and one of the great executives of all time. I never liked the Dodgers myself, but my dad sure did. Even hating them, they were a worthy opponent in every respect.

I have never met Bill, but Bob was a very nice person when he was in Everett.

Life has it’s way of putting all things in perspective and as much as we eat, drink, and live baseball, there are things more important than the game. Condolences to the Bavasi family. And just remember, Buzz is not “gone”, he just went to find out what’s out there in the corn field.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It’s been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again.
