I’m happy if Dickey comes up, but DFA for Baek doesn’t seem to get to the root of the problem. More like the top branch of the crown.

Worse, at this point, would be any sort of flukey ‘run’ of wins that would convince the donkeys that the ‘plan’ might work, they just need to give it time. I have become convinced that, given Seattle’s location, any plan that relies on free agents is not, and probably never will work. That means consistent success would be more likely with a Billy Beane-type approach. What are the chances of that, given the donkeys running this Titanic?

Baek shouldn’t have been the one DFA. He’s better than Batista/Washburn for sure. Baek will get a job somewhere very quickly.
