I’m still amazed that even as bad as the M’s are, we’re still losing the race for Strasburg.

I’m also amused that the Times and the P-I are both seemingly hiding the M’s place in the AL West standings. The P-I doesn’t even have the M’s listed on the MLB standings list as of this writing. The Times only had it listed as part of the general AL standings list.

bakomariner, my first thought is, what that be a smart move for Cora or not? It worked out OK for Melvin, but others have been one-and-done after taking their first managing job here.

The love child of Bill James and Earl Weaver couldn’t help this team in ’09.
