Does anybody know if the McGwire homerun is available anywhere online? My friend and I were at that game, sitting fairly high up in left-center (it might have been the only time we ever sat there), and we always wondered if we could be seen on the broadcast. We had actually joked about catching a homerun, since we were so far away, and the ball was hit way over our heads...good times. Thanks.

I watched the June 24, 1997 game this morning. I was actually there that day. I remembered seeing Randy get 19 one time, but wasn't sure of which of the two dates it was - and then I saw that shot McGwire hit off of Randy and knew this was the one. That was as memorable for me as Randy's 19. Man, at the time I was sitting down the RF line, right over by where the bullpen was, with a pretty good view of the trajectory of that shot. At the time, I sincerely thought it was going to hit the damn roof.

The TV coverage was kind of comical...the announcer saying "that was about halfway up into the upper deck!" and the cameraman kind of scanning back and forth toward the nether reaches, until finally, one row from the absolute top of the stadium, there's some joker dancing with his hands over his head, ball in left hand. On TV they claimed it was 538 feet - but it HAD to be 600 if it was a foot.

The point of my post was that my channel guide says that the Randy Johnson game is supposed to be on right now, but I think they are running this A-Rod story instead since it is "breaking news". But it is indeed being aired again tomorrow night at 8PM PST.

According to my guide data the White Sox game will be on 2/8 at 9pm PST and the Oakland game will be on 2/15 at the same time.

They're talking to Valle now on the MLB Network and he's doing his best to talk up Griffey.

Any news on when MLB Network will replay the games (if at all)? I was looking forward to 6 straight hours of Big Unit nostalgia.
