Also, on the Peoria rehab note, Clinton OF Daniel Carroll as 1-for-5 with a double and Rainiers LHP Cesar Jimenez struck out one and hit two pitching in the first inning.

And Halman’s rehab seems as much mental as anything.

For those wondering about Halman, he’s been sent to Peoria to try to get his swing fixed. He DH’d for the AZL Mariners yesterday, going 0 for 3 with, you guessed it, three strikeouts. Maybe the M’s can fix him, but he looks an awful lot like Reggie Abercrombie right now.

Oh, and Maikel Cleto made his Mariner debut in that game as well – 2/3 IP, 3 H, 1 BB, 6 R, 1 ER. At least he’s here and pitching again, though.
