    Wonder how long he stays there. He has got to improve offensively or else he’ll have Adam Jones on his tail.

    #100, that’s not the first time Gammons has said that this season.

    Robert Victor == BJ?

    I would love it if he now came out as the first openly gay major league baseball player. “yup, that’s how i got the name.”

    I was at the game last night and just dropped by because I wanted to read what was being said about Dan’s retirement. If case anyone that asked game time questions comes back to this thread I will propose an answer to two of them where I missed a real answer.

    Dan was a bit quicker earlier on in his career. Remember the inside the park HR?
    I remember the home theft by Dan during a broken squeeze where the pitch was way high. He slid under the tag in all the confusion.

    The other question. Joel did hit 94 on a couple of pitches according to the board at Safeco. I don’t remember seeing a 95. However, he did seem to throw a higher % of changes than usual which resulted in more weak contact than I’ve seen from Joel this year. (Someone behind me made a comment that the Angels must be believing Joel’s new positive press and started swinging too early in an attempt to compensate. Laughter mixed with evil glares all around.)
