So much for his rumored return to your Seattle Mariners; Villone dealt from Florida to New York for 26-yo lefty Ben Julianel.

    Good. The Mariners didn’t need him on the radar. As a reliever he’s redundant in our loaded bullpen and as a starter he’s unproven.

    As a starter he sucks. Of course, I’d take Villone as a starter for $2/1 year over Washburn for the “horrible, makes one sick” ammount of money being floated.
