New T-shirt available

Hey, for those of you who were waiting for the popular Ambivalent Maybe shirts to be available in the USSM Swag Emporium, it’s up. If you’ve forgotten what it looks like, check it out:

tshirt design

Pretty cool.

If you haven’t already ordered a sweet USSM garmet, go on and get down with your bad self.

Those of you who ordered cool shirts — first, thanks, and second, when you get them, we’d love to hear how they look. Drop us a line or comment.

Also, we’re looking into ways to do logos on navy colors and stuff. This may involve using an alternate vendor, which might make this pretty complicated soon.

And remember — the part of your purchase that doesn’t fund CafePress’s continuing inability to offer different-colored T-shirts goes to our efforts to find better hosting, censor debate, and fund a buyout of the team’s current owners. We’re only $500m away from our goal.

eeer…I think I might get this one. I like it. But, then again, it does kind of look like a giant Penis.

very cool…should the conservative mariner owners and their family friendly fans forget, the founding fathers were Masons!

dang. I already bought more than I should have… and I see these are direst printed, and not the dreaded heat transfers. hmm. any chance this limited edition could hang over into March, as it got posted so late?

You will note that it is not in the short-timer section, and so may hang around…. forever!

obviously, that should be ‘direct’, not ‘direst’ 🙂

think I’ll take my coffee, find some of that winter sun, and read what fine thoughts Finny has about the ’06 season….

Larry Larue has the real news today http://www.thenewstribune.com/sports/mariners/story/5520967p-4973789c.html – that WFB goes into camp for the first time as a frontrunner to land a starting position – at 2B?????

(oh, and that Carl Everett knows that runs win games – something other ballplayers apparently can’t figure out).

Oh Larry, you used to be so much better than this.

That said, I’m ordering this shirt, though I’ll add to the chorus (those other logos will look great on navy). Of course, I had to look up what the Latin phrase meant. And in so doing, I found this other phrase, Ingenio experior funera digna meo. (I suffer ruin worthy of mine own invention.) and it made me think of Howard and Chuck and the upcoming season. Which seems to be what Finnegan AND Larue are both saying.

Better watch out. All the Illuminati/Free Mason conspiracy buffs will claim that the Pyramid Eye and Latin phraseology you have are signature Illuminati symbols.

LaRue’ll get his own post here in a minute.

And on the navy shirts.. yeah, we know. We’re working on it.

Very cool shirt guys! And just because my Latin is a little rusty, what does the shirt say?

Hello. Thanks to everyone who said anything nice about the t-shirt design. I’m sorry I missed the other postings about the designs, but I just returned from an e-mail-less vacation.

I do not know Latin, but according to the authorative-looking website I got the motto from (http://www.shipbrook.com/jeff/mottoes2.html) “Est mihi sorte datum” means ‘It is given to me by chance’.

Don’t forget the part about “ignoring character and intangibles”…
