Game 38, Mariners at Angels

DMZ · May 13, 2006 at 5:59 pm · Filed Under Mariners

What a great day in Seattle. I got up early and knocked off a fairly huge bike ride, came back, ate some pizza, worked on the book a little, and now, Jarrod Washburn vs John Lackey at 7:05 (KSTW). Remember, Jarrod gets mad when he pitches against the old club, and that means a quality performance!

But wait… MLB’s preview tells me “This will be Washburn’s first meeting against his former team.” It will? Really? Not April 5th?

Safeco still doesn’t have Questec, right? Or did they put it in this year and I missed it?

Man, a Sexson home run really taxes the server, huh?

  30. Rick L on May 13th, 2006 11:08 pm

I think I would let Sherrill pitch the bottom half of the inning.

  31. Henry Reed on May 13th, 2006 11:09 pm

Wow, I think Hendu is channeling Rick Sutcliffe.

    440 comments…a new record?

  42. dw on May 13th, 2006 11:16 pm

I can’t think of the Flintstones now without thinking of the Harvey Birdman with Fred as the Dapper Don.

“From the town of Bedrock… they’re a page right out of Godfather III.”

    Sexson for game MVP!

  44. Typical Idiot Fan on May 13th, 2006 11:17 pm

  48. Rick L on May 13th, 2006 11:17 pm

Wow, that was close. This is like a Guardado close.

  49. David J. Corcoran I on May 13th, 2006 11:18 pm

can we put Felix in now to w hiff Vlad? I’d feel much more comfortable with that.
