Friday’s news

DMZ · December 1, 2006 at 9:02 am · Filed Under Mariners

Okay, soooo…. Zito’s talking to the Rangers, goood, the Diamondbacks are talking to Mulder, good, and Bud Selig, Commissioner of Baseball, says he’ll retire when his contract ends in three years. Uh huh. We’ve heard that before.

So what else is going on? Uh, Eaton did go to Philly, LHP Okajima agreed to terms with the Red Sox…

God I hope it isn’t Thompson. Dude can’t stay healthy. Even when he’s healthy, he sucks eggs.

Ichiro moving to center was a bright spot, as well as Doyle getting regular playing time.

More and more are saying its John Thompson. How UNexciting. Guy should be an NRI not a player under contract.

#109– ok– Thomson doesn’t relieve pain, but doesn’t inflict too much additional pain either.

If the Rangers get Zito, I will like the Thomson signing less. I hope Bavasi is a skilled chess player because he could make his position stronger by taking this pitcher from his opponent.
