    DMZ-
Do you frequent the Webley events?

  2. davepaisley on September 2nd, 2007 9:46 pm

Awesome. Life doesn’t seem quite as bad right now. The Peewee Herman reference was superb.

Stupid home computers. Can’t even deal with YouTube.

boy, there is nothing sadder than a Mariner All Access taped right before the Big Slide …

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-Kay.

I was waiting for this team to cause DMZ to lose it, and apparently it’s finally happened. I can see him sitting in a padded cell somewhere, mumbling, “Rick White, oh God, Rick White, oh God….”

    I don’t get it.

The introduction of Jason Webley to my life was the best thing that happened to me today.

What the bloody hell was that?

  9. Karen on September 3rd, 2007 2:28 am

    That’s weird.

Is it a generation gap, or what?

  10. JMB on September 3rd, 2007 6:56 am

Derek’s a few years older than I am, and I don’t get it either.

  11. msb on September 3rd, 2007 7:13 am

I wikied, hoping for more elucidation. I’m not sure I got it.

I didn’t think anyone but Carmen Miranda used ‘chica chica boom’ ….

That is so by far the best thing posted on USSM…

I think that should be nuked for being OT!!!

Glass half full: It was better than probably anything you could have posted about the M’s after the past two weeks.

Glass half empty: It was better than probably anything you could have posted about the M’s after the past two weeks.

What a great thing to find this posted here this morning, in the last place I ever expected to see it.

The blond guy is my good friend Jay Thompson. He would be incredulous if he knew just where his snapshot of the moon ended him up. I believe the only time he ever played a lick of baseball was at my bachelor party, and it showed. And he still insists that the World Series is, you know, not a “world” series, if you know what I mean.

    Yeah. Good morning.

During a losing streak would The Drinking Song be more appropriate?

I think this post is both: A. great; B. the most on-topic meta post possible given these end days in which we have been forced to live. Damn end days….

  17. jlc on September 3rd, 2007 9:53 am

    Poor kitty.

    Come again?

I don’t understand a bit of this, and yet I’ll be singing it all day…

Maybe this is best un-addressed. Just enjoy it.

Thanks, DMZ. That made my day. Let’s hope it works its magic…

  22. frannyzoo on September 3rd, 2007 12:46 pm

Of course we all know this post directly caused the end of the streak. Ichiro!’s homer pshaw…it’s all about the dancing saints and falling kitty.

  23. boxc on September 3rd, 2007 1:18 pm

Well we won today so maybe he should post, ah, interesting videos more often.

  24. kenshabby on September 3rd, 2007 1:31 pm

That was great. Improved my spirits by around 20-25%. Animation looks like something between old South Park and Terry Gilliam’s Monty Python stuff.

  25. VaughnStreet on September 3rd, 2007 4:08 pm

That was so awesome Derek. Thanks!!!

  26. terry on September 3rd, 2007 8:13 pm

I completely get it. BTW, I’m not going to clue in those of you who don’t…..
