Upgrade notification 3-29

DMZ · March 29, 2008 at 11:09 pm · Filed Under Site information

Starting now. Let me know if anything’s wonky.

Update: Site upgraded, fixing plugins
Update: fixed
Update: fixed caching
Update: fixed slowness

Unresolved: why does it keep trying to get me to download post.php when I update this? That’s really annoying.

Random note: our USSM server, funded ages ago with generous reader donations, has been up continuously for 323 days without requiring a restart.

I think it’s wonky Charlton Jimerson made the team and Dickey got sent down. But that’s just me…

I think Miguel Cairo’s face is wonky. As is that surreal fungo commercial. But that’s just me…

Between Cairo, Julio Franco and Otis Nixon, I’m still trying to figure out who looks the wonkiest at this point.

not really a functional matter but only aestetics: the link symbol for google in the subscribe box (upper left hand corner, between RSS and technorati) has been broken for weeks now. the link still works. Are you planning on repairing that, or is that a probleem only I have (I am on IE 7 in case that helps).

I think that server is out performing its Pythag restart record. We maybe be in for a regression this season.

speaking of upgrades …. in today’s pre-season page in the Times, we have the original iteration:

“Mariners look like playoff team” | Steve Kelley

    the Beta:

“Mariners not ready to make playoffs” | Jerry Brewer

and the current release– Geoff Baker opens his article by explaining Pythag

That game at the Los Angeles Coliseum was wonky. How were only three home runs hit?

re post.php, the mime type for php in your servers config files is probably not defined. Sorry I can’t add more than that but its been a while and I’m on my mobile phone.

Can someone tell me why the M’s MLB site still has Anderson Garcia on the active roster making 26 players.

Maybe the MLB feels sorry for us that we signed Silva for so much money, so they gave us an extra roster spot.
Either that or the website is wrong.
