There’s a major, big-time sporting event happening in LA this evening, featuring the biggest, most successful team in the city, and this is not it.

First game I will be at this year where the home team has a decent chance of winning. Surprisingly enough there are a few other Ms fans here.

The game is in Anaheim, silly.

Trojans bigger and more successful than the Lakers? Hmm.

Ballpark radar has Fierabend throwing over 100 – what is he really throwing?

High 80’s. They’ve really got him at 100? I shudder to think what they’d have Felix or Morrow at!

  8. ceepdublu on September 13th, 2008 7:51 pm

In the first they had him throwing 107. . .

I’ve been watching the USC/OSU game and following the M’s on Gamecast.

I just switched over and heard Rizzs. Back to football.

Football game…not so interesting. Raul Ibanez throwing to home plate…always interesting.

107 on a Feierabend fastball? Heh, if that were true, hitters would be distracted by the popping sound each time a Morrow pitch broke the sound barrier.

That, or they pulled out the old French-made kmph gun from Moyer’s days.

so, at this point do we want the game to get so out of hand that F-Rod can’t save it?

    There we go, Cairo.

Please don’t let Rodriguez set the record against the M’s. His wad is so huge he can’t even close his mouth, for pete’s sake!

    ‘There we go.’ *clapclap*

Woohoo. The Mariners are going to be on everyone’s high-light reel for this off-season.

Ah, poop. Well, congrats to Rodriguez.

  18. Scooter4 on September 13th, 2008 8:58 pm

Good on Beltre for getting surgery, at least. Though if tomorrow’s game is the last time I get to see him in an Ms uniform, I’ll be disappointed.

    Best of luck, Adrian.

Why the crap would you not pinch hit for Balentien there in the 9th? I knew he was striking out before he got in the box.

Congrats to F-Rod (I guess).. I don’t mind the celebration this time, but I wish he’d act like he’s done it before on all the other 57.

You’d think he won the damn Publisher’s Clearinghouse Sweepstakes after he closed each of those. Annoying as hell.

And, don’t care if they’re out AL West brothers. I hope the Angels take a skid in the post season.

In this picture, F-Rod looks like he has a very bad case of constipation, as he tries to take a dump in his pants:
