• Kirby Arnold says Rick Rizzs won’t be getting voted into the Hall of Fame next year. Shocking, I know. Oh, and that Jose Lopez says he reallyreallyreally doesn’t want to play first base.

• The Arizona Fall League begins play tomorrow. The M’s prospects playing for the Peoria Javelinas include: Doug Fister, Gaby Hernandez, Stephen Kahn, Joe Woerman, Rob Johnson, Carlos Triunfel & Greg Halman.

    I thought Mike Morse was going to the AFL, then Venezuela to work on 1B. Why is he not going to the AFL now?
