So, I have a 76% sure MY website is written by a woman 🙂

  5. Jeff Sullivan on November 20th, 2008 7:06 pm

Lookout Landing: your one and only source of multilingual Mariner news and edible foreign cuisine.

  6. Bretticus on November 20th, 2008 7:07 pm

I’m pretty sure Derek is a liar.

Watch these links not work in 5 minutes.

  7. Teej on November 20th, 2008 7:09 pm

I looked at LL with the www in the URL, and it says:

“We think http://www.lookoutlanding.com is written by a man (85%).”

Probably because of “potato” in the top story. Men love potatoes.

Apparently Matthew, Graham and I are 5% more feminine than Derek, Dave and Conor. I need to grow a beard.

    Poor Geoff Baker…

“We think http://blog.seattletimes.nwsource.com/mariners/ is written by a man (70%).”

Hey, I posted what I saw.

    BWAAAA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

USSM is the classroom; LL is the frathouse lounge.

Or as Jeff put it the other day — LL’s the side of Dave that he keeps trying to suppress…

    Sorry, Stephania.

“We think … is written by a man (86%).”

  13. DaveValleDrinkNight on November 20th, 2008 10:46 pm

    Jeff speaks the International Language.

    Disgruntled Fan.

This is what you get for making Graham an author.

  15. Adam S on November 20th, 2008 11:11 pm

Hey, their data shows they’re right 53% of the time.

  16. killer_ewok18 on November 20th, 2008 11:41 pm

    That beats ESPN.

    bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com culturally stimulating

  18. zzyzx on November 21st, 2008 7:15 am

My site is 100% written by a female. I know I’m not the most macho guy out there but sheesh…

  19. PositivePaul on November 21st, 2008 7:52 am

This is what you get for making Graham an author.

Or have commentors who type in “JIve” 😉

I need to grow a beard.

    Well it’s about time.

  21. joser on November 21st, 2008 9:51 am

We think http://www.firejoemorgan.com is written by a man (80%).
We think http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/ is written by a man (85%).
We guess http://blog.seattlepi.nwsource.com/marinerfan/ is written by a man (51%), however it’s quite gender neutral.

That site seems to be unable to follow redirects, which is why you get the “not written in English” results when the base URL redirects to the www. version, or vice versa.

And clearly it doesn’t look at pictures: http://www.prolebrity.com/profile/ryanrowlandsmith/ is written by a man (68%).

I need to grow a beard.

Well it’s not going to just grow itself, you know. You need to talk to a doctor about getting those pills.

It must be all the extra ‘u’s
