To answer some common questions:
– we’re in the “Microsoft Auditorium”
– at the Seattle Public Library
– yes, the big glass and steel thing downtown
– we’re scheduled to go from 1:30-5:30
– I’ll be providing water

And definitely some inquiring minds in San Diego. I’m totally bummed I can’t make it – I was just up in Coeur d’Alene last week too. Ah well, such is life.

I reeeeeeeeally wanted to go, but alas, weekends are the time I spend over in Poulsbo with my kids (and believe me, you don’t want ’em at this event). I wish someone was live blogging it. Looking forward greatly to the recap.

I see your Winnipeg and I raise you to Ottawa.

PS – skating on the Rideau beats the Red River. Or at least according to the Ottawa Citizen it does

While there can’t be a detailed write-up for the reasons we’ve already discussed, I’ll say that it was four hours of highly concentrated awesome, and I am even more optimistic about this franchise’s direction than I was already.

Thanks to Derek, Jeff and the gang for putting this together. All of the guests were interesting, and lots of great questions.

    I really enjoyed it also….

I didn’t know everyone at Lookout Landing is left handed. I found that interesting. I think Blengino is too.

and (unlike Fan Fest) there were no questions that caused en-masse eye-rolls.

They had very defined places they weren’t going to go with answers, and the others took their cues on how far to go from Blengino, who was very impressive. He’d be great to have back; humorous and well-spoken and lots of content.

McNamara was very much the scout, and seemd to be a careful thinker– there were a number of times when he leaned forward to give his thoughts on a question just as the next question was called for.
Fusco was smooth and old school Italian, but seemed very open to all the new stuff going on. The unexpected guest was Pedro Grifol, who was pretty open on what has happened with player development the last year and a half and how they are going to carry it forward.
