AFL Rising Stars Game On MLB Network

On Saturday, the Arizona Fall League will host its version of an All-Star Game, pitting the best prospects in the league up against each other. The M’s will be represented by Dustin Ackley, Phillippe Aumont, and Josh Fields, so if you want to watch them play, you can tune in to either MLB Network or MLB.com at 5:15 on Saturday.

    I believe that game is Saturday at 5:15 PST.

    Any chance mlb.com will be streaming this for free (ie without a gameday subscription or whatever)? I can’t even find a link to anything useful about it on mlb.com (though I’ll concede the site discourages me from trying very hard).

    I got to see two games this last weekend at the AFL. It was a lot of fun. I would encourage anyone interested in the minors to go down for a few days.

    Also, if you are interested Ackley looked pretty good the game I got to see him in. Here is a picture I took while there.

    Nice pic (the others in that stream are interesting too). Good to see Ackley still keeping his weight back.
