Radio Spot

I’m going to be on with the guys from ESPN Radio 1080 in Portland at 4:05 pm. Tune in if you’re down there or listen live here, though I’ve also been told it’s simulcast in Seattle on Comcast Sportsnet, so whatever that is, if you have that, you can use that too.

Me: “Do you have Comcast Sportsnet?”
    Friend: “Uh…. I don’t know. I have Comcast. How do I tell?”
Me: “Turn it on. If Dave Cameron comes out, you have it.”
Friend, after a long pause: “…you mean his voice, right?”

The interesting things is, you don’t have to have Comcast to get CSN NW (Comcast Sports Net North West). I have Verizon Fios and CSN NW is on channel 77.

With this friend, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was imagining Dave emerging physically, like he was beaming down from the starship USS Mariner via the intratubes.

That’s what I was thinking, too. Like I say, either way, you’re pretty sure to have Comcast Sportsnet.

The real question is, would you get to keep him, or would he disappear when the show was over and/or you turned off the set?

If you kept him, I think his wife would be dismayed. Unless it was a copy. In which case, can we use it for Felix and Gutierrez?

    You know, like this.

Except with players that are still good.
