Lee vs LeBlanc, 5:35 pm.

Cliff Lee takes the mound for the Mariners, so they have a chance to win. They’ve pummeled Wade LeBlanc before, but Petco helps him a lot.

Seriously…I just read a friend’s post on his FB page which (referring to the World Cup) read “Who would follow a sport which ends in a 1-1 tie?” — to which I answered back, “At least Team USA got a point today — which is more than (the) Mariners can muster up at the moment playing baseball!”

    Sigh.

Ya know how I got the kids to clean their rooms? It was either that or watch the Ms game. My wife? She mowed the lawn.

I cleaned the oven. Watching the Ms is enough to make ya want to stick your head in the oven so at least it’s clean now.

The Ms are to entertainment what granny panties are to lingerie.

Ms baseball is like an evening in the park with mimes reenacting the history of Tupperware.

Picture being stuck on a greyhound during a cross country trip next to an obese middle aged lady describing her life’s major conquest-outbidding someone on ebay for a lock of Chris Isaak’s hair complete with a certificate of authenticity and HPLC analysis of the goo he uses…

Ms baseball is like being stuck between floors on a crowded elevator during 100 degree heat and the last stop was the floor that houses the gastrointestinal disorder treatment center…

Ms baseball-like purgatory except it never ends.

That makes a couple of positive comments about Morrow in the last few days. Last time I looked his ERA was 5.48…

You’re going to get blasted on this site for using ERA as an evaluation tool, especially when Morrow has a FIP of 3.69.

I’d have rather they brought in Felix or Vargas to pinch hit over a Kotchman, who is no longer a major league caliber player. When I saw that Wak followed that genius move by putting White in the game, I turned the channel. This team is boring, from their talent to their style of play, right down to their plain jane 1998 uniforms. They’re just wearing me out.

M’s baseball should be featured in the next “Saw” movie. Pretty strong torture device

M’s baseball has been so boring lately, I’m surprised FSN hasn’t shuffled their schedule to move poker and fishing to up to 7p and the games (tape-delayed) back to three in the morning…

Though, even in that time slot, those infomercials featuring the Ghost of Billy Mays on the other channels might still draw better ratings.

The M’s are so boring and lifeless. What are we to talk about now in game threads?

    Hmm…

Who would win in a fight..

An alive, but severely coked up Billy Mays.. Or Sham-Wow Vince following an adrenaline boosting hooker smackdown?

Who would win in a fight..

Actually, I’d put my money on Anthony Sullivan…

Sully could “Sham-Wow” the floor with motormouth Vince hands down (er, hands-free — as in the Jupiter Jack)! 🙂

Sorry about that, I was being lazy…
