Two ESPN Radio Hits Today

I’ll be on at 11:30 with Brock and Salk today, and that will be my regular slot going forward. I’ll also be on with Kevin Calabro at 3:45 today as well.
My new post at the Brock and Salk blog is now up too. It’s all about Greg Halman and his historically awfully strikeout rate, and the one guy who actually made it work.
It’s spelled Calabro. Just an FYI.
I’m glad you are tempering the hype….Is Halmans pitch recognition problem apply to anything other than a fastball? Can he recognize change-ups? Or is batters eye so bad he can’t layoff anything?
Dave,
I’ve heard you many times over the years and just kind of lumped you in with the rest of the competent local sports opionators, not to be confused with the incompetent. Twice today I was in my car listening to 710 when you were on with Mike and Brock and again with Kevin and Go To. I thought your offerings both times were very thoughtful, well presented, and articulate. I don’t know why I felt so compelled to e-mail you this time and not before, but I made it a point to register with the site and write you as soon as I got home. I thoroughly enjoyed your arguments, opinions, stance, and overall addition to what has been, otherwise, a dreadful season. I didn’t think it was possible, but I felt much better about the Mariner organization after I listened to your 2 spots. Thanks Dave.

awfully -> awful
Wow, some commenters there actually want Halman up in the big leagues. That’s crazy talk; he’ll be laughed out of the batter’s box every time.
