Franklin Gutierrez returns to the team and immediately goes back to center field and the #5 spot in the line-up. Wedge recognizes that even a rehabbing Gutierrez is better than a healthy Miguel Olivo.

    Not necessarily “Cust hate”, just the fact that one of his main jobs being in the position in the batting order is to drive runs in… not walk all day. Look, I’m not saying walking is bad… but we need someone to get those runs across.

    All this means is that he should be batting lower in the lineup. Maybe even 9th so there is often someone on base when Ichiro comes up to bat.
