Fister vs Blackburn, 5:10 pm.

Don’t have time for anything more pithy than “Go M’s” today.

Send Saunders down already. This can’t be good for the psyche.

Ya, he’s not showing real promise. He has a poor eye (yes, he takes a lot, but he has a poor eye), his swing is loopy and awkward, he strikes out all the dang time.

If only he could be a designated defender.

    BULL SHIT CALL.

    A balk?!?!

Jesus… (sorry to whomever it offends)

  5. jordan on May 24th, 2011 6:58 pm

And this game is getting bad.

Wow Figgins. Way to move towards that throw. Great show of effort right there. ffs.

Goddamn umps have conspired to fuck the Mariners this inning.

  8. MarinerFanMike03 on May 24th, 2011 7:01 pm

Well we were bound for one implosion of a game.

  9. spankystout on May 24th, 2011 7:03 pm

I also think Figgins half-assed that relay.

As long as Laffey can get us out of this inning I think our pathetic offense can muster something off the even more pathetic Twins bullpen.

Peguero’s arm looks pretty good out there. His flyball routes are another story.

    Textbook figi

    What’s wrong with Ichiro??

  14. msfanmike on May 24th, 2011 7:10 pm

Figgins has definitely earned some time off. I hope they give it to him.

I absolutely refuse to believe that calling up Liddi would result in anything worse than our third base situation right now. Figgins is awful. 2 for 23, how is that not an indication of needed bench time?

2-23 isn’t inherently bad. Now the fact that Figgy could probably hit me in the back of the head with a bat and I wouldn’t do anything other than rub it is bad. That is, if he even made contact…

We are going to need someone to clutch up big time. Could it be Peguero again?

  18. jordan on May 24th, 2011 7:23 pm

Gray looked good. And by good, I mean better than Ray.

  19. Ibuprofen on May 24th, 2011 7:29 pm

Today I learned our winning streak capacity is six games.

  20. mlathrop3 on May 24th, 2011 7:30 pm

    Thats it. Season over.

So the G makes all the difference?

His arm is strong – but unfortunately one can never tell exactly which direction the throw will end up traveling.

We have to do something about Figgins and Saunders. Figgins needs to be moved to 9th and Wedge needs to teach Figgins that nothing is guaranteed to poor performing players (except their pay of course…)

Wedge can do it. He has balls and he has a leadership presence. No one is above the manager’s decision.
