Dave On The Air

Not going to let a little thing like leukemia keep me from talking with Toby and the guys over at 1510 KGA in Spokane tonight. I’ll be on their airwaves at 4:40 pacific time, and I’m going to try to work in at least one hospital related joke.

    Hey Dave,

Was just up in the NW this week for some salmon fishing with my dad, and I couldn’t help but tip my cap at SAFECO and toss a few words upstairs for you and your family. Watching you shape a community of followers in your statistical analysis over the past few years has truly been amazing, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds after you beat this thing. Kick some butt man, we’re all pulling for you brother.

    Dave,
I am a lifetime Yankees fan, but I started reading the USS Mariner every now and then after the DMZ breakdown of the Gas House Gorillas article. I have enjoyed your work on Fangraphs. Anyway, my family will pray for you and I look forward to enjoying your work in the future. Get better.
