The Felix/Beltre Thing, GIFfed

If you missed the game last night, you also missed some classic Felix/Beltre verbal jousting, which lasted for most of the eighth inning. Eno Sarris has captured some of their back and forth in GIF form. It’s worth checking out.

That was so funny watching them last night. I loved the swing Felix did too. Making fun of the swing Beltre had at a pitch. Priceless stuff, good to see BB Players interact like that.

What a minute that looks like Google translate…are we sure that’s the actual translation. Maybe they were talking about Felix’s recent heart transplant?

That was pretty funny to watch last night. I think this wasn’t too long after Beltre had hit a deep fly to center while on one knee, chasing a Felix pitch that wasn’t anywhere near the strike zone.

Love Eno Harris’ alternative dialogue too!

    I miss Beltre.

There are a lot of guys who moved on from being good Mariners that I didn’t really care about in a different uniform. Even as a Ranger, I still really like Beltre.

I was sitting behind the third-base dugout last night. In the fourth inning, after Brendan Ryan squared to bunt and then swung (with Beltre and Moreland charging), Beltre started an animated conversation – mostly one-way – with anyone in his vicinity. He abused Datz, the third-base umpire, any Mariner on third base (there were a few, including Ryan). He was not happy at first, but had a shift-eating grin by the time the third out was recorded. It was funny to watch.

Still thinking Figgins is gone when Olivo comes back? Sounds like he might be back by Friday..?
