Shoppach’s defense was horrible on Sunday. I will take Blanco’s defense any day over Shoppach’s defense.

I appreciate the obvious but necessary response to the “OK, this isn’t a smart move, but it’s probably not going to matter that much, so why complain about it?” line of thinking that’s been used around here so much lately.

Almost all decisions GMs and organization makes are small ones. If you’re bad at the small moves, you’re almost certainly a bad GM.

Westy, at your elderly age, I’m surprised you know how to turn on a computer, let alone post on USSM…

    Haha, Bryce.

Actually, I type my responses on my trusty Underwood typewriter, then my daughter corrects my spelling, cleans up the drool, and enters what I wrote into the page here.

I will pledge 1 cent for every word that Jeff starts with a hard P.

I will double the donation size for every single Henry Cotto reference, because somehow I feel like he should have been mentioned as only the second Henry to play for the M’s, and neither of them are white.

Because HENRY. Fuck, I don’t know. This thought really went off tract fast. Or is it off track? I feel like if it’s off track, it should be off the tracks.
