    I wonder how many starters who issue at least one intentional walk go on to win that game (or, perhaps better, end up with a good gamescore or ERA+ for that game). I suspect, as Matthew mentioned, the results for a game in which a pitcher IBBs tend to poor since IBBs usually arise when the pitcher is at least perceived to be in a bit of trouble. I mean, even Barry Bonds at the height of his powers usually wouldn’t get an intentional walk when the bases were empty and the pitcher had been cruising and the score was tied or the Giants were losing.
