Podcast: Mariners Sweep

Matthew Carruth · April 30, 2015 at 5:42 am · Filed Under Mariners

We again make fun of Jered Weaver; we again gush over Felix; I make the case that the Mariners are in first place; there’s some more ding-donger talk; we get around to the Josh Hamilton trade. Those are some of the topics!

About Astros defense that was talked.
I know they won’t keep the number of BABIP that they have now. But haven’t the Pirates achieved a great IF defense without any good defenders? The Buccos have at best average defenders in each IF position but with shifting and special positioning they ahve achieved good IF defense numbers.
Couldn’t the Astros be doing something similar?

Thank you, guys! You’re great, and these are really fun, and also a good thing to interrupt the banality of the M’s last two games of losing in painfully slow, boring, and stupid fashion to the Astros.
