Game 25, Mariners at Indians

Yovani Gallardo vs. Danny Salazar, 1:10pm

Great win yesterday with the M’s 4th/5th starter on the mound. That had to give the M’s some hope heading into this one.

Felix Hernandez was diagnosed with bursitis in his shoulder…he’s expected to be back in 3-4 weeks. That’s the time frame for Mitch Haniger’s return as well.

1: Segura, SS
2: Gamel, RF
3: Cano, 2B
4: Cruz, DH
5: Seager, 3B
6: Valencia, 1B
7: Heredia, LF
8: Zunino, C
9: Dyson, CF
SP: Gallardo

Scribner to the DL and Powell has replaced him on the roster. 7 man pen tonight.

Looks like Gallardo is flashing his veteran presence today.

Great start by the bats, though.

Come out of the gate and get 3 runs but then cough up 4?! If we lose 4 to 3 I’m not gonna be happy about that…. but Gallardo has looked better since then now it’s up to the bats to WAKE UP!!!!

Wel if you can’t scare them into scoring another run / with a future promise to be angry – then nobody can.

Six innings with 3-4 runs against is about as much as you can expect from Gallardo. He kept the team in the game.

That was a really dissapointing game, no hits after the first inning? Just gotta come back and try to win tomorrow. Have a great Saturday USSM!
