Colon v Washburn! Good Washburn Good Washburn Good Washburn
Ichiro – Turbo – Guillen – Sexson – Broussard – Beltre – Johjima – Betancourt – Lopez
v
Willits – Cabrera – Guerrero – Matthews – Quinlan – Hillenbrand – Izturis – Molina – Aybar
I was going to note which Molina, but Molina about covers it.
Also, the PTBNL in the Jason Davis deal has been named – 18 year old RHP Gregorio Rosario. Don’t lose any sleep over it.

I wouldn’t worry as much unless it was near Grover’s IQ
Good point, 101. Can Averages GO in the negatives?
What do you know about how smart Sexson is?
Initially I thought, “Wow, Broussard is a well-paid bench warmer”, but at this point I think I would prefer Sexson as an even-better-paid bench warmer.
Well, that’s the first time “semen” has ever been mentioned in a broadcast.
Sims just said “semen”
And all of a sudden we are 3 games back.
Its nice to know that after the biggest series of the year, we can look back and see how badly we crapped all over ourselves.
I wonder how many of those “firsts” Sims has had this year? Seems like quite a few.
We’ve been spoiled by Washburn so far. He’s earned the right to rubber-bands back to reality. How many games until Felix pitches again?
That’s what you want to do when you haven’t played for a week, Willie … swing at the first pitch.

Exactly
Bloomie PH’ing for Broussard. Apparently white flags come in a more scrappy form these days.
Ron Gagne’s scouting report on Ichiro was very informative.
Willie watched the keys to the game and was inspired
Someone please explain to me, statistically, how it is we always get 2 guys on base with 2 outs. C’mon Raul, don’t be a statistic.

I mean, who wouldn’t have been?
A dinger here would be sorta cuddly. My fantasy team be damned! I don’t care of Shields gets lit up!!
Yea, that was a strike.
When do we get the Dave Vallesque Happy Hour drink special based on Sexson’s Avg.?
doh
Well, at least Raul tied a MLB record: Swinging and MISSING three times in one at bat.
Pathetic
That’s a pretty huge fork sticking out of Raul’s back.

He’s got a ways before he catches Valle’s widely celebrated .129 low mark. At least he “rallied” to hit a robust .194 that year.
The record for swings and misses in one AB is four.

Even for our line up, that would be hard to top
😉
Seattle being the Depression/Suicide capitol of the country that it is. The Mariners Organization have a social obligation to put out a product that does not contribute to those statistics.
Ok, is that the 3rd time in the last 4 games that a ball has got past Guillen? Seriously, that’s got to be some new record of sorts.
Ugh… Inter-league play can’t come soon enough. And I don’t even really like inter-league play.
Ok I just want to say that I just found this website and its good to know that there some Seattle Mariner Fans out there that care as much as I do. Great day everytime they win, horrible with every lose. Go M’s
The Angies are better at putting all their sucking into one game. The Mariners tend to spread things out a little more.
Late to the game, but is there any rationale to PH WFB for Broussard or Ibanez for Lopez tonight?
Man, can Ichiro please take a ball there…

need bloomquist to be the tying run at the plate with sacks juiced, that’s why
WALK-Rod?
good thing ichiro swung at ball 4. :\
GROAN… sorry for the lack of optimism but who could blame me?
Good thought process Sexson, swing at the first pitch after two walks. That has to be one of the most common mistakes made this year by Mariner hitters, and one of the most annoying possible.
Rally killer struck again

You mean swinging (and not producing a positive result) on the first pitch in virtually ANY situation?
man, you go away to watch an Academy Award(tm) winning motion picture, due back tomorrow, and all heck breaks loose. Semen? sure it wasn’t Seamen, as in Los Sailors de Seattle?
in case anyone was wondering why Bavasi was treading so carefully on the subject of Mateo yesterday, the MLBPA has filed a grievence
