This road trip can’t end fast enough. Just downright ugly.
I know Guillen says he still feels it when he reaches for balls, but McLemore at short with Guillen at third? Amazingly stupid. McLemore should never, ever, ever play the infield. Ever.
Couldn’t we rest Ichiro against Tampa Bay or Baltimore? Why do we have to rest him in a critical series against the Red Sox?
When was the last time Arthur Rhodes struck someone out? March?
If acquired, Matt Stairs would immediately rank #1 on the Mariners in OPS. His .955 mark is higher than that of Edgar (.946) and Boone (.924), over 100 points ahead of Ichiro (.836), and 200 points ahead of Winn (.748) and Olerud (.746).
