My bad. I will note, however, that if Boone is traded, we will no longer have cause to bust out into spontaneous versions of Jason’s “Crap Machine”, the Boone taunt turned reverse psychology that triggered his breakout 2001 campaign.
Also, since I don’t get back to Seattle very often, I had nearly forgotten that the house I grew up in doesn’t have air conditioning. I never thought I’d be looking forward to going back to North Carolina in July so that I could cool down.

I’m still all for trading Boone. I was simply saying he appears to have found his stroke in the last week, during which he’s hit .354/.394/.857 (roughly). In no way does this erase his horrible year, nor does it mean he’s “back”.
