A Mariners Don’t Anger Us Podcast
Well things got better. The Mariners went 8-4 since the last podcast, beating up on some fellow bottom dwellers and now they look downright forgettable instead of abjectly embarrassing. So it’s a kindlier and gentler, albeit often divergent, Jeff and Matthew podcast this time around.
Speaking of not speaking solely about the Mariners, at the end I ask about how people feel when we venture off the strict Mariners path. Please leave your feelings below on the matter.

Podcast: The Mariners are Really Upsetting
The last time Jeff and I recorded a podcast, the Mariners had just dropped a series to the Astros, a team we were confident that the Mariners should steamroll. This time is different though because this time the Mariners dropped a series to the Astros in Houston. Also, now we’ve lost most if not all expectations that the Mariners are significantly better than the Astros. The season starting Mariners probably were, but that team is already gone.
So, big time warning here on the explicitness. Really. We are displeased and since we don’t script or rehearse these beforehand our displeasure typically manifests itself in a string of curses. Do not play this over your speakers at work. Do not play this around people with fragile sensitivities. Perhaps just don’t play this. Go outside instead, it’s pretty enjoyable out there. The Mariners are not enjoyable.

Podcast: Mariners Upset Us
Welcome back, few internet listeners!
Jeff and I are here with another podcast. This one is more along the lines of our previous incarnations in that it’s quite a bit longer and meanders a bit from baseball. Surprisingly, we did not end up discussing volcanoes in any form or fashion. We did record this prior to last night’s game so that’s why there’s no discussion of Michael Saunders’ injury. If you’d like to imagine what the segment about Casper Wells would be like if we had waited a couple hours, just turn up the volume to 18 or something and insert a lot more curses.
Which is to say, there are already some curses in case you weren’t aware and were exposing your own or your children’s delicate sensibilities to these podcasts for some reason. Then again, you’re also probably exposing them to the Seattle Mariners so you have no right to complain about anything.

Hello there, USS Mariner.
I am Matthew Carruth. I used to comment here, and then I used to write across the street at Lookout Landing, but then SBN decided to be SBN, and so I left, and now I’m here. I don’t know how much or how often I will be writing as freed from obligation, this will purely be a when-I-fancy-it effort on my part. Hopefully I can add a little bit.
One thing I can add are these podcasts. Jeff and I used to do them semi-irregularly at LL and now we will do them semi-irregularly here. I make no assurances about your enjoyment of these. I myself am not an overwhelming podcast fan, but we always got positive responses from some people and so, written shrug, as long as it makes some people happy. It’s not like we force you to listen to these or that you’re paying for them.
